The uniqueness of the property complex lies precisely in the prudent choice of the owners not to distort the original conformation of the buildings with the insertion of new volumes foreign to the local tradition, as well as to intervene in the distribution of space and interior furnishings under the banner of comfort and tradition, combining design objects and natural fabrics, such as linen and jute, with the reuse and recovery of furniture and materials from the past.
The restoration was long and complex and lasted from September 2019 to May 2022, given, even for some portions of the trullo, the high state of obsolescence, which in some cases had compromised the masonry and conical roof system.
The current real estate arrangement arises from different purchases made by the property a few years apart from each other.
t is presumed that originally the complex, although it constituted a single building body of irregular shape, being under different ownership, was intended for a variety of uses, including residential, haystacks, barns and storage for the agricultural products produced there.

Of historical interest was the presence of as many as three wood-burning ovens for baking bread, one of which was of significant size, which could suggest that in that place all the inhabitants of the district could bake their food to feed the many farming families living near the trulli complex.
All the elements of particular architectural value, such as, for example, the pinnacles, the chimney flues, the dovecotes, the access stairs to the roof, and the interior arches, have been rigorously maintained in all their morphological and material characters, without any substantial modification.
For both exteriors and interiors, the focus was on the use of eco-friendly natural materials such as hydraulic lime and local limestone, to offer the sensation of reliving in the same conditions as the Apulian peasants of the last century, creating in fact a context absolutely superimposable on the bucolic and ancestral perception of the Cistranese landscape of the past.
